This lovely sweater was discovered over at the You knit WHAT blog. This just goes to show that Christians don’t have the market on tacky holiday sweaters anymore.

Apparently this was sold by HSN (ahh ha found the info )

Celebrate the magic of the Festival of Lights with this Hanukkah-themed holiday sweater. Hebrew lettering framed in Star of David designs shares the message, “A Great Miracle Happened Here.” A lit menorah glows solemnly at one side of the placket, while at the opposite side a festive dreidel spins to children’s delight.

I don’t understand? What was so ‘tacky’ about a sweater that this woman was ‘asked’ to design for those Jews who ‘don’t’ celebrate ‘other’ holidays? I wanted to get one of them myself because this wasn’t done for profit, but for the fact that she did it in ‘dedication’ to the Jewish community. I don’t get.
