A few pretties for a Thursday afternoon

These were made by my grandmother Beatrice many years ago.

And no, not letting my husband sleep on them… they have been carefully packed away

Those are so lovely!!! The girls in skirts are just wonderful. I would pack them away too.

I have some that my mother and grandmother made. My mother gave them to me in 1989 and I’ve kept them well and cherished them for all these years. Now she’s in a nursing home and she’s forgotten that she gave them to me, and she wants me to bring them to her from her house. I’m in a quandary. Do I take them to her and let them get completely ruined by nursing home life, or do I tell her I can’t find them in her house (which is technically true; they’ve been in mine for nearly 20 years!)? I don’t know.
