You know the type- sends in all sorts of stuff with the child…

So for the boy’s birthday I made individual cake slices out of felt & batting.  It was easier then trying to find cake/ treats that would acceptable for the boy to take to school (school is a nut-free zone and there are kids with various feeding issues & delays).  Now it is valentine’s day… most normal parents are happy just buying the box of valentines and leaving it at that.

Not me.

*sighs*

It was actually fairly easy to make, the most annoying part was doing the applique stitch with the sewing machine.  (since I had never done it before).  I will try to get better pictures taken before Friday… if I can find my camera battery charger… sighs…

Another vintage pretty from the Ingalls’ Illustrated Catalogue.  These laundry bags were made of linen with designs stamped on them.  The original size of the bags was 18″x26″.
