New Barenaked Ladies album… kids music that won’t cause me to want to gouge my eyes out!
I’ve been slowly trying to go through some of the vintage I have in bins and get it listed somewhere. I found this little number:

I was starting to lose my mind trying to figure out how the heck to write a sales pitch for it. It’s cute- but it’s also double knit polyester. So yeah, pretty 70s… and in the slightly scary 70s way…
Well was starting to measure, etc. and found a small hole in it. So it’s going to a thrift store near me. I’m sort of sad because it is high quality (for double knit poly)…

I’ve registered to participate in the AIDS Lifecycle Ride next June to raise money & awareness for HIV/AIDS research and services. The AIDS LifeCycle is a life-affirming event that will take my bike & I all 545 miles, from San Francisco to Los Angeles, in seven days! The Ride benefits both the San Francisco AIDS Foundation & the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center; supporting their mission of eradicating AIDS as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening & treatment. The Ride provides a reminder that the rate of HIV infection is increasing, particularly in communities of color & in individuals under the age of 25. In California alone there are 60,000 people living with AIDS, and another estimated 91,000 living with HIV, many unaware of their infection While a number of strides have been made in research and treatment, the fact remains that you will know someone living with HIV/AIDS in your lifetime. That’s why I ride.
Last year ALC raised an unprecedented $11 million dollars and with your help, I know we can do it again! You can join me in my fight against HIV/AIDS without even breaking a sweat! Would you please consider a $100 pledge*or whatever you can afford* to support my effort & the San Francisco AIDS Foundation? Your contribution is entirely tax-deductible.
