I’ve been slowly going through old magazines (mostly crafting ones) to see what might be saleable and what needs to go to the recycling bin. I found a great Women’s Circle, April, 1962- but some of the pages were torn out. Had some fun reading through it and I love the old ads- I scanned a few:

I have also been saddened. Ebay raised the insertation and monthly listing fees for store items. My store was never hugely profitable- but it was enough to pay for extras. With me not working outside the home because of T and his health issues/ prematurity the extra money was nice. I also remember when I was still working and had ebay weeks where I made more on ebay then in my “real” job- of course the company I worked for didn’t really pay a living wage anyways.
So what does this mean for me? Well I closed my store and upgraded my webhosting. A lot of the items I had in my store are now here. I’ve also been setting up stores at ecrater for my vintage clothing and more current items. I’ve been busy busy moving stuff, uploading pictures, etc. Oh and learning more and more about php every day.
